Great Kids T Shirts!

kids t shirtThe simple kids t shirt has been the staple of childrens clothing for many years and now there’s a massive choice of styles, designs  and colours for both boys and girls, babies and toddlers to make your child look cool, funky, smart or just cute!

From funny humour tees to comic superhero characters such as batman, spiderman, superman to animal shirts or popular movie merchandise such as Star Wars, Star Trek or even Harry Potter T shirts, there’s never been a better choice of kids clothing and apparel. Most t-shirts are available in a full range of sizes and colours to suit all ages.

There are kids t shirts to appeal to all budgets too. Mass produced plain kids tees are within the reach of everyone or if you spend a little more there’s personalised, customised, printed graphic T shirts or even kids designer T shirts.

The main problem parents find when buying kids clothes is finding the right size to fit their child. Children are all unique and grow at different times and rates and two children even of the same age can need different size clothing.  Parents however get to know what size is suitable for their child – whether that’s the size for their age or a year or two bigger or smaller. Kids t-shirts are a pretty flexible garment too and if a shirt is a little to big or small then it can still look great.

Cost conscious parents should also consider the style and design of the t shirts they buy. Kids fashion can change quickly and kids grow so quickly that sometimes they’ll only fit into their clothes for a few months and then the clothes can be passed down to a younger sibling so by choosing designs which won’t go out of fashion so quickly and following the garment care instructions then the clothes will enjoy a longer lifespan.

Kids do get bored quickly looking around clothing shops though but luckily there’s a vast range of online kids t shirt and online kids clothing stores.

So childrens clothes has come a long way with innovative production techniques that create fantastic looking, high quality kids T shirts so if you’ve got a funky baby or a Disney kid then junior can look great at home, school or nursery in their favourite tshirt.

Happy Christmas

Kids T Shirts would like to wish all our readers a Merry Christmas and a great 2012!

Activities for 2 year olds

activities for 2 year oldsActivities for 2 year olds can be tricky. 2 year olds are developing quickly and love to explore and assert their independence. Their high levels of energy and desire to explore naturally along with improving hand-eye coordination lead them to learn new skills and develop further.

Unfortunately the desire to push their boundaries too far can lead to the typical behaviour we expect from ‘the terrible twos’ !

As your child grows they gradually master new life skills and show improvement in feeding themselves, toilet training, cleaning and dressing themselves. Some task take longer than others to master though and parents must show patience and encourage their children as much as they can.

Activities for 2 year olds must be aimed at what is achievable by a 2 year old as different activities apply to different stages of development. Attention spans also vary so activities for 2 year olds must take into account how much concentration will be required.

Breaking down activities into smaller blocks is one way of achieving larger targets and children learn by imitation so practice and parental demonstration is essential along with coaching and positive suggestions.

Fun daily toddler learning activities and games can include  arts, crafts, & exercises. Find what your child’s favourite activities are and develop new activities around those.

Printables are great activities for 2 year olds. Shape matching, colouring, sponge painting, counting and puzzles are all freely available on the web and when your child grows tired of one you can simply download some more.

Activities don’t have to be expensive either – a cardboard box and a few existing toys can make an ideal remembering game. Print out photos of animals from the web and you can create a great farm game!

Create activities that make your child use their imagination and problem solve too. Toys can be hidden around the house and garden and then you can organise a treasure hunt for your 2 year old.

Use your imagination and you’ll find your child has to use their imagination too. We hope to bring you lots of great activities for 2 year olds soon.

5 tips for buying kids clothes

Kids T Shirts & ClothesWhilst cheap mass produced kids clothes are easy to find these days many parents feel under pressure to dress their kids in the brand name high fashion designer clothing to keep up with what their friends are wearing.

Unfortunately not everyone can afford to buy expensive clothes and the rate at which kids outgrow their clothes makes it even more expensive.

Here’s our tips on get the most value and still dressing your children in cool clothes:

1. Buy new and sell on

If you must buy the best clothes for your kids then think about selling it on after they’ve done with it. Second hand kids clothes can be sold at local sales or on sites like Ebay so you can recoup some of your expenditure when the kids get too big for the clothes.

2. Buy used

As kids can rapidly grow out of their clothing you’ll find a thriving market for second hand clothing (both on and off line) and items such as designer kids t shirts can often be found at a fraction of the new price.

3. Designer doesn’t have to mean expensive

Many high street and online kids clothing stores have great ranges of cool clothes at much lower prices than designer brands. There’s also many small designer kids clothing stores that offer cool and trendy clothes without the big brand name price tag.

4. Swap with friends

Many parents have more than one child and if you have friends with kids of different ages then you could pass you old clothes down to the younger children of friends and receive clothes from parents of older kids. Schools and playgroups could organise clothes swaps to renew your child’s wardrobe for next to nothing.

5. Design your own!

If you’re looking for something unique then try buying a plain t-shirt and customise it with fabric paints or dyes. Or create a design and have it professionally printed by an online garment printing company – you get a one off item of clothing that will be totally unique!
